What this wiki is

An independent, fan-run wiki and guide database for DragonSword: Awakening, the open-world tag-team action RPG released by Hound13 Inc. on 22 July 2026 for Windows PC via Steam.

We cover the game's heroes, combat systems, progression, endgame, platform availability and post-launch updates, plus two tools — a team builder and a material planner — that do the arithmetic guides usually leave to the reader.

Not affiliated with Hound13. This is an unofficial fan site. DragonSword: Awakening, its characters, artwork and trademarks are the property of Hound13 Inc. Screenshots on this wiki are official press and store assets used to illustrate editorial coverage, and remain Hound13's property. For official information, use the Steam store page and the official news feed.

How we verify data

Every factual claim on this wiki comes from one of three places, and we say which:

  1. In-game testing on the current patch — ailment behaviour, skill descriptions, recipe costs and mode structure.
  2. Official first-party sources — the Steam store page, Hound13's announcements and roadmap statements, and the official news feed.
  3. Reader submissions, verified before publication and credited.

We do not source from other wikis. That is a deliberate policy, because it is the specific failure mode of this game's coverage: a number of sites list mutually contradictory hero data — different ailment assignments, different roster details, different tier placements with no stated reasoning — because they copied each other rather than DragonSword: Awakening.

Version stamping

Every page carries a visible Updated date and a game version stamp, currently patch 1.0.x.

This matters more in a live game than it looks. A tier list without a version stamp is unfalsifiable — you cannot tell whether it describes DragonSword: Awakening you are playing. Ours states its version, and when the roster changes we re-evaluate rather than append, because a new hero changes the relative value of existing heroes, not just the length of the list.

We publish gaps rather than guesses

Eleven of the nineteen launch heroes do not yet have their status ailment data verified in-game. Those rows on the roster page say "Pending". Those heroes are Unrated on the tier list and excluded from scoring in the team builder.

We could fill them in. Other sites have. But ailment application is the single largest determinant of a hero's value in this game, so a wrong entry sends someone into a Tower run with a team that cannot chain. A visible gap is more useful than a confident error.

The same applies to numbers we do not have. The material planner asks for your observed drop rate rather than inventing an average, because per-run drop quantities are not published in-game.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we want to know. Send it via contact, ideally with a screenshot and your game version. Verified corrections are applied and credited.

This applies especially to the Pending hero rows and the recipe buff values — if you have that data confirmed in-game, it fills a gap we have deliberately left open.

FAQ

Is this the official DragonSword: Awakening wiki?

No. This is an independent fan-run wiki. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Hound13 Inc. For official information, use the Steam store page and the official news feed.

How is data on this wiki verified?

Through in-game testing on the current patch, official first-party sources, and reader submissions that we verify before publishing. We do not source from other wikis.

Why are some heroes listed as unverified?

Because their status ailment data has not been confirmed in-game. Since ailment application drives most of a hero's value, we publish the gap rather than guessing.
